Job description

The Technical Business Analyst will work between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams to define requirements, process changes, interfaces and measurable acceptance criteria.

The role suits analysts who can understand both business workflows and the technical implications of system, API and data changes.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate discovery workshops and document current-state and target-state processes.
  • Define functional, data, integration and non-functional requirements with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Support API, data-mapping and system-integration discussions with engineering teams.
  • Manage requirements traceability, assumptions, decisions and change impacts.
  • Support testing, stakeholder validation and implementation readiness.

Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of business-analysis experience in technology or digital-delivery environments.
  • Strong requirements, process-mapping and stakeholder-facilitation skills.
  • Understanding of APIs, data flows, system integration and software-delivery lifecycles.
  • Experience working in Agile, hybrid or structured programme environments.

Preferred qualifications

  • SQL/data-analysis capability.
  • Experience with BPMN/UML, Jira and Confluence.
  • Industry experience in financial services, education, automotive or enterprise technology.
